Holiday

Hi there!

A few weeks ago Mummy and Daddy took me on holiday to Woolacombe Bay in Devon. It was brilliant! Nanny and Grandad were there and so was Uncle Paul, Auntie Inonge and Matthew, my cousin. The chalet we stayed in was really big and we all sat round a big table to have our breakfast...
There were so many things to do. On the first day we all went to the beach...
...and I made a big sandcastle (well the others helped a bit!)
We also went to the play area...
...to Watermouth Castle...
...and to the beach again...
All in all it was a great holiday, although it was very tiring. I can't wait until we can do it all again next year.
Bye for now,
Bernie x

Moving house again!

Hiya!

I've been having so much fun since I last did this, I don't know where to start! After all those visitors left I didn't know what would happen next. To be honest I was feeling a bit unsettled. Luckily Mummy and Daddy found this wicked house in Penzance and we moved in there. It was nice to have all my old toys and things around me. And there is lots of room to run around!
Showing Granny and Auntie Tabar around my yard
Seeing how long it takes to get across the room...

...and back...

...it was quite exciting.

I love my new house. I know you all will too if you come and visit. Mummy and Daddy got a new fridge/freezer as a moving in present and I got a tunnel. It was so much fun.
We also got a new TV so I can watch CBeebies. My favourites are In The Night Garden, Lazy Town, Boogie Beebies and Big Barn Farm.
(We don't only watch CBeebies)
Sometimes Mummy and I make cakes! On Father's Day we made chocolate ones and I got to lick the spoon!
But the best thing about living in Penzance is getting to be in the parade on Mazey Day!
Getting ready...

...watching the drummers.
That's it for now.
Bye,

Visitors

Hi again!

I haven't written for a little while as I have been teething. I have been in terrible pain and I have had flu-like symptoms and a high temperature. Anyway, I am feeling much better now.
While we have been staying in a friend of Granny's house we have had lots of visitors. It has been very exciting...I like visitors!

The first visitors to come and stay were Grandpa Bates' brother and his family who had come all the way from Germany. There was Uncle John and his wife Verena, her daughter Natascha and their daughter Fenella. Fenella is a little bit younger than me.

Here is a picture of me and Fenella...

We got on very well and had lots of exciting times. I didn't really like the competition for 'cutest girl in the house' though! Here is a picture of Fenella with her Uncle Paul and one with her Daddy too...

While they were here we took them to Paradise Park to show them the birds and the animals...it was so much fun...

As soon as they left we had more visitors! This time it was Nanny and Grandad who had come down from London. They were here for a week and we had lots of fun. One of my favourite days was when we went to Play Zone. Nanny and Grandad came with me in the ball pool and down the slides and everything...it was brillant!

Combining two of my favourite things - animals and transport
Another great day was when we went to Flambards!
Cheese and tomato sandwiches with Pringles...yum!

Nanny and Grandad had baps

Learning to drive
On the cups and saucers...yay!
The Animal Train...this was my favourite thing ever!

And then last week my Great Uncle Brian came to visit for the day. He was visiting his Aunt Rose in Devon. We went to the park to see the frogs with Mummy while Daddy was at work. And then I made them take me to the pub. I could see they didn't really want to go but I enjoyed it. In the afternoon we showed Uncle Brian our new house. Daddy came there after work and then we all went home for takeaway curry (actually I had pasta because I'm not allowed curry except for this stuff called Nanny bread). Here are a couple of photos...

So as you can see it is great to have visitors. I hope lots more of you come to visit me here. I would love to see how Ethan and Anya are getting on. And hopefully my cousin Matthew will visit me soon.

Love from Bernie
